I didnt think it would be like this,

Youre so nice and gentle

Something I cant forget

That day the moment was set right,

We looked each other in the eyes

And cut off the light,



Thats all we did that night

While listening to the jazz band,

Hugging and kissing

Hand and hand,



The jaws of life wouldnt have

Been able to pull us apart,

Im not going to lie

You will always be in my heart,



Because when someone

Like you really touches me,

That tells me youre special

Thats why Im glad youre with me.
