And we begged her not to go

She began to sing like Christmas

As she staggered outside lookin' for the snow



When we found her Christmas mornin'

She had hoof prints on her forehead

And incriminatin' Claus marks on her back

Now the duck is on the table

And the puddin's all so big

And the blue and silver candles

That almost match the hair in Granny's wig



We went out and warned the neighbours
