At last I realize, I see the world through different eyes

now there's a feeling of joy in my heart

you know there was a time when doubt and strife controlled my life

until I felt it would tear me apart

I was so lonely, waiting hoping for sight in the dark

and it was only the light inside that provided the spark

a sudden vision of the world around that pushed me to rhyme

another range of possiblilties justified my time

here from my roof I see a scheme of things which pleases me

no desperation no fear and no doubt

I use to kneel and pray I could some day break away
